Product warranty

Four coverage tiers by product family Proof of purchase required on every claim

Decades of engineering mission-critical inverters have proven these products stand up to the real world. That confidence comes from robust design and quality manufacturing, and it is why we back them with an industry-leading warranty.

Coverage

Which warranty covers your unit

Coverage runs from the date of purchase, and every period also carries a ceiling measured from the date of manufacture — whichever comes first. The series names below are the original product families and are not brand names, so check the label on the unit. Full terms are in the DMX Power Limited Warranty Policy (#66-0348).

Dimensions Series

  • 5 years. Inverters and inverter chargers, or 66 months from manufacture.
  • Three-phase. 1 year, or 18 months from manufacture.

Magnum Series

  • 3 years. Inverters and inverter chargers, or 42 months from manufacture.

CSW Series

  • 1 year. Inverters, or 18 months from manufacture.

Accessories

  • 1 year. Remotes, cables, fuse holders and similar, or 18 months from manufacture.

Conditions

What the warranty requires, and what it excludes

Coverage applies to product bought from DMX Power or an authorized distributor, dealer or OEM partner. Product from unauthorized sellers or online marketplace sellers is not eligible. The warranty runs to the original purchaser and is not transferable, and dated proof of purchase is required on every claim.

It covers defects in materials and workmanship on product installed, operated and maintained per the product manual and the governing electrical and safety codes. It does not cover misuse, abuse or improper application; improper installation, inadequate wiring, reverse polarity, over- or under-voltage, or loose terminals; repair or modification by anyone other than DMX Power or an authorized service provider; damage from shock, liquid, corrosion, humidity, temperature, lightning, surge, fire or flood; or normal wear, cosmetic damage and unreadable serial numbers.

Repaired or replaced product is covered for the remainder of the original period or ninety days from return shipment, whichever is longer. Inverters are not warranted for life-support or any application where failure could cause injury or severe property damage.

Product bought before August 1, 2025 is covered by Sensata rather than DMX Power. For those units, see sensata.com/warranty.

Getting service

Before you return anything

Start with the product manual, the fault indicators and the installation conditions — most faults name themselves. If that does not settle it, call technical support on 1-800-553-6418.

Then file the request below with dated proof of purchase, the model and serial number, the installation date, the application, a description of the fault, and any photos or diagnostic information we ask for.

Do not ship anything back until a return authorization is issued. Product returned without one may be refused, delayed or returned at your expense. You are responsible for packaging and for shipment to the service location we name. The warranty does not cover de-installation, reinstallation, travel time, field labor, expedited shipping, duties, storage or downtime.
