Magnetic-hydraulic DC circuit breakers for the MP (Magnum Panel) and MMP (Mini Magnum Panel) enclosures, in two kinds. Both must be mounted vertically to trip as specified.

Overview

  • BR-DC75-BM and BR-DC100-BM — back-mount load breakers, used as disconnects for charge controllers and DC loads. Front pressure terminals take #14 to #0 AWG copper or aluminum wire. Not 100% continuous-duty rated: derate to 80% for continuous use, so the 75 A breaker carries 60 A. UL 489 listed; interrupting capacity 5,000 A at 125 VDC.
  • BR-DC175 and BR-DC250 — the high-capacity breakers installed in MP and MMP enclosures and included with the MPX extensions. They serve as the inverter's DC disconnect and battery-to-inverter protection, with a trip delay tuned to Magnum inverters to minimize nuisance tripping. Front connections with 3/8-16 captive nuts; bolts and a back-mount kit are included. UL 489 listed; interrupting capacity 10,000 A at 160 VDC.
